My last reaction, as Angel found Willow in the hotel lobby: They aired this back to back with the last episode of Buffy’s season 5? o.O
Now, don’t get me wrong, I loved this episode; it’s perhaps the best one of all the Pylea episodes, with at least three great character moments (Angel’s resiting the demon; Cordelia’s reaction to the prospect of losing [not "getting rid of"] the visions; Wesley’s moments as a general [I mean, he was so cold, even Gunn was shocked]), lots of hilarious stuff, and things like that. But BS5×22… that was a pivotal moment, for chrissakes! It’s proportions and consequences are beyond human understanding! And to air it right after (right?) this? Huh.
Anyway, the Pylean arc is now finished, and it may be time to sum things up, and to take a quick look at the greater picture. And that greater picture involves that I own up to the fact that as much as I like this arc, it’s not among the best in the Buffyverse. For that, it has too little drama, it’s not touching enough. But hey. It’s fun, and I can certainly enjoy that, too. But not as much as I can enjoy certain other things.
Also, I’ve now seen two whole seasons of Angel in less than two weeks. In comparison, it took me some one and an half month to watch the same seasons the first time around, and season 7 of Buffy also took me that long. (Although I did manage the last half of that season in two days.) My goal? The entire series before I go home for Christmas on December 13. Sure, it’ll completely screw up my movie schedule, but the 104 movies per year goal is more of an ideal than anything else. I can manage with 90. ![]()

Well, I think it was right after, yes, but you’ll have to check the original-airing-dates, because there may have been some inaccuracies and stuff. (Angel right after Buffy, that is, Buffy was always aired earliest in the evening)
Glad to hear you’ll keep at it. Reading these reviews are a fine way of re-living key scenes without taking the actual time to watch the episodes.

Glad to hear you say it.
Getting your comments and additional info is one of the reasons why I bother to write these quasi-reviews.
