Wow, that scene in the park really was awesome. Sure, Loki’d kida spoiled it for me, so I sorta knew what was coming, but it was nonetheless awesome for that. And later, once those annoying non-humanoid mutants had “freed” him, and he put his Magneto helmet back on… I had shivers running down my spine for a few minutes after that.
The rest of the story was good, too, although it never could match the first (or second; the first was an introduction of Kitty Pryde, I believe) episode. Naturally, not everything was peachy. For example, I thought the plotline with the Savage Land computer to be cheesy (although the idea was good), and the artwork for the middle parts was even more annoying than the one I complained about in “World Tour”. At least the art in “World Tour” didn’t look like it was done by Scott Kurtz on a sugar rush. (Now, don’t get me wrong, I love Kurtz’ work, but his PvP style ain’t the kind I’d love to see in a comic of this kind.)
Also, I’m a little unsure of just what transpired when Jean Grey overcame the Phoenix Force, or if it even was Jean who did it. But I guess that’s one of the disadvantages of reading these things between 2 and 3 am…

Sorry about that spoiler-thing, I really thought it was in the end of #3. :-\
But that scene in the park is, like, 70% of the reason I’m such a fan of this series. It’s just too insanely good.

Actually you spoiled it in an MSN-convo a few moths ago, while you were still trying to pimp the series. Or possibly after you’d seen “X-Men III”. I was calling Magneto names, and you wanted to show me why I shouldn’t do that, or something like that… And so I don’t blame you for it or anything. After all, a) it’s one of the reasons I even started reading Ultimate X-Men in the first place, and b) itæs not your fault that I got the memory of an elephant.

It really isn’t. Which elephant’s memory did you take? *hoping it wasn’t a cute one*

Aren’t they all cute?
And it’s Dumbo’s. And the reason I sometimes seem as if I’m from another planet or something, is that elephants? Yeah, they remember hang-overs for a long time, too.
