Never before has the tag “Great Expectations” been more fitting.

*laughs* I’m actually looking more forward to the Magneto-prequel, but I guess this one will come around first, so…

Well, I’ve pretty much come to share (Ultimate) Cyclops’ view on Magneto, so…
But hey, I look forward to that one, too.

I’m not sure what his view on Magneto is, but he’s a boring idealist, so I’m guessing it isn’t exactly nuanced.
Magneto rocks as a badguy. True, the “Ultimate”-version of him is more, hm, “immoral” than the normal-continuity-version - and the movie-version, by the way, hovers at some point between the two - but he’s still an awesome character because he has valid points and codes of ethics and in his own way a (quasi-) altrusitic, idealistic goal. He doesn’t just want to bring Sabretooth and Mystique and Pinky and take over the woooorld, or get rich, or anything like that, he’s got Goals and Visions. He’s charsimatic and he’s nuanced and he’s damned cool, and I love the pairing of him and Xavier, ’cause I like my contrasts!
