I gotta admit I was somewhat flabbergasted when Loki listed this episode as one of his 25 favourites, because I just remembered it as a mediocre episode with a lot of dull ballet. Man, was I wrong…

This one’s awesome from beginning to end. All the way from the first scene, where Wes confides to Cordy about his feelings for Fred, though the rest of the scenes, and to the final ones, in which Fred says some comforting words to Wes, I don’t think I noticed a single boring moment. And I feel I should add that I just watched this twice, first once with Joss’ commentary track, and then once without. And there were thre scenes which brought tears to my eyes both times. If you’ve seen the episode, you know of which ones I speak, and if not, well, then I’m not going to spoil anything for you.

There were simply too many good things in this episode for me to mention them all; and it was way too great for my meagre words to do it any justice. This episode is a bloody masterpiece, is what it is.

(And to the truly observant of my readers, who wonders where my “reviewoid” of AS3×12 Provider is: I decided to stop commenting every episode I watch. At least in too much detalil, because it takes too much time, and if I am to finish season 3 before my exams, I don’t think I can take the time to spend twenty or thirty minutes here for every episode.

Oh, and my project of tranforming my sister into a complete geek is well under way. Of course, she has the geek inside her all along, as do we all; I’m just playing at midwaife, feeding (lending and watching with) her things I perceive as geeky. I started off with X-Men, which she were only too eager to embrace, seeing as she’s just as much in love with X2 as I am, then continued by starting her off on Scrubs, asI considered that to be a nice starting point for her to get into the habit of watching TV shows on DVD. And now, I am proud to announce, we have started watching season 1 of Buffy together, and it seems as if she likes it. Gee, I love sibling cultivation. I only wish I had more, and preferably some younger ones. Oh well. At least I am on schedule when it comes to my sister. :P)

And just so I don’t forget it: This one was Wesley and Angel’s episode. I think this was the point where I really started liking Wes the first time I watched the show. He was one of my favourites even before this, but after this episode… it’s impossible not to love him. I can’t wait to see “Loyalty”…

(And look at all those pretty categories! :o )
