This is possibly my favourite episode. I mean, Fred and Gunn has that cute parenting routine going on; Wesley is finally beginning to be Wesley, the cold, yet emphatic intellectual, with steel control over everything around him; Lilah has one of her best moments, as she goes over (or just below) Linwood’s head; and Angel holds one of his best speeches in a very long time. On top of all this goodness, Cordelia’s single line in the episode is one of the funniest in the entire series, especially considering her station in the world.

Whedon at his best, if you ask me.
