This episode has it all. Angel looking like Meat Loaf in “Roadie”. Faith smacking Connor around. Evil Cordelia manipulting and magicking. Wesley being cool. Great character interaction (especially with Willow and Faith and whoever they’re interacting with at any given time) and moments. Sunnydale humour (which this episode really distinguishes from the LA humour; SD seems more light-hearted and silly, in comparison to LA). Angelic flashbacks. Angel vs. Angelus (!!!). More Wesly’y goodness. Quasi-lesbian quasi-flirting. Faith’y and Angel’y redemption themes. Buffy crossovers. Re-ensouling. Something that looks like the beginning of a Wes-Gunn peace process. And most likely much, much more, which I’m just to forgetful to remember. (Seriously, for a guy claiming to have a good memory, I forget disturbingly much. :P)

Well, I gotta finish this season today, and seeing as I only watched three episodes yesterday, that’ll be quite a job. Especially when I have to drag my ar.. um, or fingers over here every hour to write these things.

Oh, and this episode had commentaries as well, by the director Terrence O’Hara, and the co-executive producer Jeffrey Bell. An OK commentary, with an appropriate amount of jokes, lots of technicalities, enthusiasm about action scenes, admiration for actors, and stuff like that. Not so much about the writing, though, which are probably my favourite parts. But none the less entertaining.
