Question: What happens to an Empath demon if it goes for a month without sleep?
Answer: I don’t really know, but be sure not to make coats out of members of its species.
My Gods, this is a fun episode. All the hilarity that ensues when Lorne’s annoyed suggestions to the Angelettes (the special extended version) become orders, is bloody brilliant, especially as he as usual speaks in metaphors and similies, and the others interpret his words much as a Fundamentalist interprets the Bible. (You’re clever enough to see what I’m getting at here, right? Good.)
But the episode also holds some genuinely sad moments (particularly if you like Wes), as Wesley and Fred are ordered to get drunk and have fun, and Wes thinks he gets to experience one of the things he’s been longing for for two seasons, just to see it yanked away right before his eyes. The poor sod.
