My only memory of this guy is from a warm night in May 2004, when I for some reason struck up a drunken conversation with him, whereupon we exchanged these ridiculous little cards. (You know, final year of High School? ;) )

I did of course know that he was a talented footballer, but I’d also heard that he was arrogant and quite frankly not very nice (although I thought he was a decent enough guy).

Anyway, the combination of “talented footballer” and “arrogant schmuck” usually results in the reading habits of this guy (a guy, I might add, who was in my sister’s class in her final year in Junior High), but Homer’s “Illiad”?

Damn, that’s another stereotype down the drain. (At least partially; Dagbladet Sport’s article about young football talents last Friday did as much to reimbue it as this did to destroy it.)

Also, Molde is currently in the lead in their match against Moss, with an impressive 3-0! :D
