Sigh.
I just sat down to plan which TV shows I’ll watch in the next couple of months, and I currently feel as if I’m in the infamous time squize, or whatever one should call it.
Because first of all, I have over half of season 4 and all of season 5 of Angel left to watch with my sister, and while this is in no way a drag, it is time consuming.
Then there’s Firefly, which I’ve promised to watch with her. Again, far from uncomfortable — especially as I haven’t watched the show since mid December 2005 — but it will take two, possibly even three evenings to get through, as we’re going to watch “Serenity”, too. (Another thing I haven’t watched since December 2005, back when it was still showing in cinemas.)
Third, we’re also watching season 5 of Scrubs — and will most likely get on with season 6 as soon as its done and I have downloaded it and burnt it on DVDs –, we’ve planned to watch VMs3 and Twin Peaks, and exams are almost upon us. Also, during our summer vacations, it is expected that we keep our parents company, too, and besides, she might not have much time off this summer, what with her new job and all.
Fourth (or seventh, if you will), I have just began watching Babylon 5, of which I have four and an half season left; there’s Heroes, the last couple of episodes of Rome, BSG, and Studio 60, if it ever returns — all of which have a couple of episodes left this season.
Then, today I had a whim and began downloading the first season of Ugly Betty (of which I watched an episode on telly today, and was amused) and the sci-fi parody classic above all sci-fi parody classics — Red Dwarf.
And in all of this, I’ve forgot that I have The Inside and Neverwhere downloaded and ready for watching, and that I have shitloads of unwatched DVDs, even more unread books, as well as a 25 page project paper in political science.
Fun, fun, fun, fun.
My Gods, I’m gonna have a stroke.

Posts
Good luck, have fun.

Thanks. I know I will. Just had to vent some steam.
Anyway, because of all this, I’ll probably have to postpone Farscape and Wonderfalls (yes, I will watch it. After all, you recommended it, and I can’t as of now remember ever regretting listening to one of your recommendations).

Indeed it would, and indeed I should.

Do you know anybody who can erase my memory? I want to view Babylon 5 and Battlestar Galactica all over again…
Uri.

No, sorry, save maybe Bester…

If I did, I’d probably not remember it, as I’d likely ruined my memory by wiping it of all memories of ASOIAF again and again. =D

Have to recommend the O.C as well. Just finished it, and it really is a good show. And as I’ve been telling Loki, you should broaden your horizon with The West Wing and Nip Tuck as well.

About The West Wing, I’ve seen perhaps a season or two of it, if I combine all the episodes I’ve seen, and judging from that I’ve loved it, in practically every respect. However, the sheer size of the thing is a little demotivating at the moment. 8 seasons is a lot of TV…

I know, but… The alternative is catching up on Batman Animated Series, which I’ve never quite managed to get through all of, and its bunch of in-universe-series, if nothing else then to be sure there’s nothing on this green earth of ours which contains Mark Hamill voicing the Joker that I haven’t seen and heard. ‘Cause I’m deterimined, now, I won’t buy or download a new show ’til I’ve seen the ones I’ve started at/already have. And after getting season 1 of WW, that means WW and BtAS.

“What else is there time for?” spør du; hva med å gå på improteater en tirsdag og se tre mennesker av enten hann- eller hunnkjønn utfolde seg fantasifullt på scena? Nei, det stemmer: det er litt.viternes “geeke-greie” det, var det ikke det du sa?
