What a nice little show!
Or, perhaps, what a nice, bug (edit: this is obviously supposed to be “big”, but I think the typo’s amusing enough to be spard correction) show, as it’s a 23 episodes long season, with 42-minutes long episodes.
Well, no matter its size, the fact remains that its a nice one.
The characters were all great; the humour was appropriately absurd; the episode plots were decent enough; the episode morale was as sappy as one would expext, while never taking up too much space; the season arc was both fun and enticing; and did I mention the characters? Some of the best ones I’ve seen, anywhere.
All in all, it was kinda like a mix of Scrubs, Veronica Mars and Zoolander. I quite liked it, and am looking forward to following it this winter.

Well thanks a LOT. As if keeping up to date on Stargate Atlantis, Smallville, Prison Break, Nytt på Nytt, the Norwegian airings of House and the Daily Show, Heroes and watching Deadwood whilst having a list as long as my arm of other stuff I’d like to watch wasn’t enough!
;P
I’ve heard this show mentioned, but I have no clue what’s it about. Basic premise?

Betty, an “ugly” Latin American girl, gets a job at a posh fashion magazine in New York, where no one really likes her, at least not at first. And, for most, not later, either.
Now, this magazine is edited by Daniel Meade, the youngest (and only living) child of publishing magnate Bradford Meade. The latter thought it was about time his son stopped being just a playboy, so he got him this job. Then he hired Betty as Daniel’s assistant, so that he wouldn’t be tempted to sleep with his assistant.
Meanwhile, there’s a whole bunch of more or less petty plotting going on, and a whole lot of secrets are floating about.
I know it might not sound as much. In fact, I used to think this had to be pure garbage, until I happened to catch an episode on TVN this spring, and, grudgingly, had to admit that this was quite fun. Funnily enough, this was the episode in which the main surprise of the season was sprung, and while I was a bit concerned, when I started watching the show from the first episode, that this would ruin it for me, it didn’t. At least not much.

Ah, vengeance is sweet! ;D

Hm. Sounds okay. Maybe I’ll check it out. Most likely not ’til after Sopranos, Farscape and two or three others, though, so not any time soon.

Argh, Sopranos is annoying the hell out of me. I watched the first six or seven seasons (provided the one being aired now is number nine or ten, that is), but forgot all about it when they started airing the previous season, and now I’ve fallen off completely.
Sure, not really a huge problem, but as I watched it on TV, it’s been almost ten years since I watched the first season, and there are several episodes I’ve missed. Hence, if I were to watch the last two seasons, I’d have to watch all eight or nine or ten or whatever of them, as I honestly can’t remember squat.
And, for some reason, while I know it is an awesome show, I just can’t seem to motivate myself for it.
Thus, annoying.
And Farscape. I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about it. Should probably get around to watching it some day… :\

As far as I hear, Farscape is good, but not brilliant. Still, I’d like to have seen it.
