For a pretty face, I always thought he was a good actor.

Has the cause of death been confirmed yet?

“Has the cause of death been confirmed yet?”
I read some things on Aftenposten.no about him being on sleeping pills for the last weeks, due to some psychic problems, but I haven’t seen any confirmations…

While I’d normally love to take credit for this, I won’t stoop to the depth of having fun at the expense on someone’s recent death.
So I’d appreciate it if you make a statement much like that one in a year’s time or so, so that I can do so then.

‘Twas but the first thing that struck me when I got the news this morning. It was certainly not intended as a disrespectful remark, nor a distasteful one.
The only thing that I remember having seen Ledger in, is “a Knight’s Tale” - a poor and unimpressive movie in every way, though Ledger wasn’t half bad. I am, however, looking forward to seeing him play the part of the Joker in “the Dark Knight”. Seems like an awesome movie, and if it is, then it will probably go down as his signature work.
That would be nice.

A Knight’s Tale is frikkin’ awesome. Not a great movie by any means, but very funny dialogue and characters and at times even a little interesting. So I have to strongly disagree with you there.
I don’t think they’re gonna kill Joker off in the end of the movie (not that I’ve got any spoilers, it’s just my guess), so this is maybe going to mean there’ll be a new actor for him in the third one. Wonder how that’ll work. Have to say that while I’d hate for there to be only one movie where that awesome character appears in the new Batman-movie-series, I’m a little hesitant about bringing a character back with another actor. Then again, they’re already doing it with the love-interest, so…

Seconded.
