Posts on or reviews of the following are scheduled to appear shortly:

Enchanters’ End Game,
wherein I reflect on the whole of Eddings’ classic Epic.

Doctor Who, 2006 series,
containing a description of that incredible nerdgasm of a final episode.

The Illusionist,
where much praise for great plots can be found.

Music & Lyrics,
devoted primarily to a statement made by Drew Barrimore’s character.

21 Grams,
with a reflection on realism and the extent to which I like “literary fiction” in movies.

De Fire Store: Når de døde våkner,
having in it much potential for me to display my knowledge of Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson.

The dead,
containing more reflections in “literary fiction” in novels, and also something about free indirect discourse, if I can remember it.

The Ultimates 2,
wherein can be found allusions to another nerdgasmic moment.

The Anubis Gates,
in which frolics beggar kings, Egyptian sorcerers, mythological figures, werewolves, Romantic British poets, shapeshifters, and one very bemused time traveller.

The Breakfast Club,
where I marvel at how great this movie really is.

The Prestige,
where my admiration of The Breakfast Club suddenly starts looking like a toddler’s awe at a scraggy dog.

And, also, at a future time:

Surprised by Joy,
where I test my mind against that of Clive Staple Lewis.

and

Wuthering Heights,
devoted, judging from what I’ve read so far, to praise of the dexterious handling of plot displayed by pre-Victorian English novelists.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to shorten this list down by one or two items per day, but I’m trying to be a good student these days (after all, it paid off last term, when I got as much as four As and, well, one D, but in a course where I didn’t read anything at all, really), so I can’t promise anything.

Also, apologies for my absence. I hope I’ll be able to sort out my disposition of time soon, because I kinda miss you guys…
