I got the results of my last exam this weekend, and in connection to that I guess I ought to say a little more about why, exactly, it is that I’ve been absent for so long the last couple of weeks.
You see, the last month of the Fall term, I spent relatively much time on reading curriculum literature — indeed, I actually read most of the required reading in four out of the five courses I took. And what happened? I got As on the exams in all those courses, and a D in the one I didn’t read anything at all for.
That’s right, probably due to my quasi-hard studying, I was able to increase my total number of As from three to seven, in a single term. Granted, these courses were rather simple, but four As are still pretty good for motivation.
So, because of this, I’m trying to follow the recommended reading schedule in at least two or three of the four courses I’m taking, and while I can feel myself slipping a bit, I’ve still spent a lot of time readind recently. So much time, in fact, that I’ve not found much time to hang around online.
Because seriously, I really want to escape this evil circle I’ve been captured in for the last eight or nine years, where I’ve gotten good grades without having had to work for them at all.

Woah, four A’s in one term? Best I’ve ever done is three A’s in one. Of course, those three were for 15 points each, so I’m guessing they count for about as much as your four probably do, but still, four different A’s in one term is pretty damn impressive.

Congrats!! That’s awesome, ya, it’s important to stay on top of the required reading and be consitent. It’s so easy to fall behind.

Way too easy, falling behind. That best term? Fraking year and a half ago already. Since then I’ve gotten my first two C’s since high school. In Latin and something I’ve repressed in my mind as ShittyCourseMcBoring, true ‘nough, but still.
Also, I feel like they’re less impressive due to being in three of the most - if not THE three most - mind-bogglingly fun courses I’ve ever taken. Plus, there was overlap in relevancy, I purposefully cross-used info from them all on each exam. Bwhwhahaha.
