David Letterman was introducing Hawke and his new film, and so naturally he started talking about the plot of the movie, and after a bit he got really into it. I don't remember exactly what he said any longer, but I sure remember Letterman asking Hawke: "And that's what this movie is about,right?" And then Hawke says: "Yeah, but you just spoiled the entire ending of it..." I watched Ethan Hawke get interviewed on Letterman about this movie when it first came out.
