Because the second I remembered it, I googled it and watched the first two acts. I swear!

Meh, it should be done all the time. After all, Marxist-inspired literary criticism is one of that field’s biggest sub-fields, or whatever. Also, while the historical materialism and Marx’ whole attempt at predicting the future is bogus, many of his analyses provide you with fertile perspectives and terms if you want to look at relations of power, money, and things like that.

Yep, thanks. I probably would have read it at some point anyway, seeing as I’m realizing that I’m not so much into Fantasy as I am into Epic and/or High Fantasy, but your recommendation made sure I read it right away, instead of just buying it and putting it on a shelf for a decade or so.
