Maybe admitting it makes me a hypochondriac, but that doesn’t matter: I’m bloody paranoid. In small ways mostly. This isn’t very funny; I think I’d perfer imagining that the government was out to get me, than imagining that each and every person I meet wants to visit harm upon me.

Because seriously, that just ain’t funny…. :P

Second day of work…

… and I’ve already been exhausted for one day, even though I haven’t really started on the tasks that actually require an effort. Damn, but I wish my sister had still been here to take care of all this pre-season stress…
Oh well. I might try to convince myself that with all this work, [...]

The Octagon

When Kalle, Håvard and myself was at the hospital yesterday, the two former ones found a cheap DVD box in the hospital’s kiosk, a box containing three of Chuck Norris’ most famous movies. And as both Kalle and Håvard think Chuck Norris jokes are hilarious, they couldn’t do anything but buy this abomination. And tonight, [...]

Good Times…

Ah, ’tis been a crappy day, in some ways.
Omniously enough, it started out alright, with me and my flatmate Håvard watching “Hush” while eating dinner. And that episode is still one of the show’s (or at least the season’s) best ones; it’s funny, it’s scary, it has major turning points in the lives of both [...]

That’s it, then.

There’s dust on your guitar, you fuck, and it’s all your fault…
In four days, I am supposed to hand in a 25 pages long project paper in the pol.sci. course I’m taking. However, being a lazy, useless slob, I haven’t even begun reading for it yet. I tried to start working on it today, but [...]

Television Shows — What Else Is There (Time For)?

Sigh.
I just sat down to plan which TV shows I’ll watch in the next couple of months, and I currently feel as if I’m in the infamous time squize, or whatever one should call it.
Because first of all, I have over half of season 4 and all of season 5 of Angel left to watch [...]

28 Days Later

I usually abhor horror movies. I think they’re shallow — in that they don’t have any purpose beyond giving their viewers a light scare, and thus, essentially, is little more than escapism — and I don’t really like being afraid.
But “28 Days Later“… this is something else than your ordinary American slasher. There’s no psychotic [...]

VM2×22

That has got to be the most traumatic season finale I’ve ever seen. This one is a dangerous rival to BS5 and AS5, and I doubt I’ll get much sleep in the three hours remaining before I have class.
Damn, I gotta start downloading season 3 soon.

This is what I call Science Fiction!

Just came back from watching “Children of Men” in the movies, and it was bloody awesome.
The filmatographic elements were all perfect. The camerawork, done with an unsteady handheld, gave the film a more realistic atmosphere (during one scene, “blood” sprays across the lense, kinda like in “Saving Private Ryan”, except that I don’t think it [...]

“Take ‘em all” — AS2×2 Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been

This is one of the first stand-alones I can remember liking the first time I watched the series. And I still like it. The über-cool paranoia demon, the way the story’s told, with numerous flashbacks and stunning transitions (I especially like the one at the beginning, where the camera zooms in on the black-and-white photograph [...]

One of the creepiest — AS1×5 Rm With A Vu

This is for some reason one of the episodes I hate to watch. I mean, I like the insight into the lives of Doyle and Cordelia we get, but some of the poltergeist scenes are a little too much for me, especially the ones where the dead old lady’s not manifested, but rather keeps herself [...]

Kenwood Lougheed, The Original Irish Gnome — Part 1

Sometime in the late 15th century, a boy was born in Limerick, Ireland. His parents were Monaghan and Molly Lougheed. They were potato farmers, and named their first-born son “Kenwood”, after the forest in which they harvested potatoes.
You see, this was in the days when potatoes still grew on trees, and before the proud and [...]

Soundtrack of my life - Natsecorma challenge #1

I see that Zhayena (or at least I assume that it’s Zhayena) has initiated a small challenge for the Natsecorma bloggers. And, being the supportive fellow that I am, I will, naturally support it.
“Ditt livs soundstrack” (Soundtrack of your life), the challenge is called. Now, I’ve already written a thing like this before, but having [...]

Concerning Consonants

Just one last comment before I’m off:
Often, you may see a word like “fodd”, or “lokk”, or something like that. I guess you’d be able to figure it out on your own, but that’s just typos. I often find that I have typed a double consonant instead of a double vowel — a typo I [...]
