Well, you let me know if there’s anything I can supply you with. I was thinking about mailing you my “Old Man’s War” by John Scalzi tradeback, since I own “The Ghost Brigades” and “The Last Colony” (when I get it from Amazon) in hardback. It would be nice to have a matching set
This doesn’t really compare to your “Nazi” commenting, but I went on a rant about how I disliked “The Blade Itself” on a forum which Joe Abercrombie actually hangs out in. Suffice to say I got banned for a whole month… Totally worth it, though
Eh… I like Scrubs so much that I’ve named my scooter “Sasha”. The Cox-comparison doesn’t really add up; you’re much nicer than him. However, you do look like Barbara Streisand…

The best way for you to show gratitude, young man, and in fact the only gratitude I’m interested in beyond some good karma, is that you watch the shows and love them to pieces. Which you of course will, as what we’re talking of is Whedonproducts.

Oh, and about me being an influence on how you behave on the net: When I was your age, I was banned from the Civilization Fanatics Forum for calling normal, moderate right-wingers “Nazis”.

And I just remembered that I forgot to mention how awesome “Bohemian Rhapsody” is, how extremely flattering that Coxie comparison is to me, and how incredibly funny it is that I resemble Barbra Streisand. I just can’t seem to stop giggling about that.

I know it only goes a little way in showing my gratitude, so if you’re ever in need of a TV-show or a book that you know I possess, I’ll gladly accommodate you (this is said with some limitations when it comes to books. I won’t be giving away any hardbacks, but tb’s and mmpb’s are up for grabs).

Anyway, I’m just happy to spread the Good Works of The Master. If that means I have to spend a couple hundred NOK on a complete stranger — then so be it. Nice of you to show gratitude, though, although a less ecstatic approach would have made you seem more sincere.
But hey. Who wouldn’t be ecstatic about finding all this Whedon’y goodness in one’s mailbox? I know I would. Or more precisely: I know I was, when I got my Buffy and Angel DVDs in the mail.
