On the 8th of May the first poll appeared on A Slight Apocalypse, thus scribbling an invisible footnote into the Blogosphere’s history. Suffice to say it was a great day with much rejoicing in every home computer hard drive and spambot’s office.

The question asked in the first post was: “In what way will the world end?” You were given a number of valid choices to chose from. The Ninjas are very angry at your lack of confidence in their apocalyptic abilities, and issue forth with a warning that immediate decapitation will occur if they spot one of you. The leader of the Ninjas said in a comment that “It will be the right thing to do. Especially considering that a loss of a head will in no matter inflict your readers intellect - or lack thereof…” Who knew Ninjas would resort to such petty insults? :)
The winner of the very first poll is The Cookie Monster. He thanks you for your kindness. He will eat your cookies now. He also asks if you “Got milk?”. I dare not speculate what will happen if you haven’t got said milk…

It is somewhat surprising that The Cookie Monster poses the greatest threat to our world, but I am not one to question a fair election. At the very least it is good to know how in fact the apocalypse will come about. It makes my life much simpler.

The new poll comes from the Sheepherder, who has grown tired of my silly segregation politics. Should I allowed his Norwegian blog into my Pimpable Pages? I don’t know. You tell me :)
