No, not the book, silly; it’s the film I’ve watched. Not that I haven’t read the book by Douglas Adams. It’s one of my favourite science fiction books. The movie version is almost as crazy to watch as the book was to read, which makes for a very enjoyable movie evening.
This is my second viewing of “Hitchhiker’s Guide”. I saw it when it came out back in 2005, but when I discovered a cheap copy lying around I simply had to watch it again. For those of you who doesn’t know what this movie is about;
1. Was the cave you hid in the last twenty years cozy? How do you like this “Internet” thingy that’s so hip these days?
2. Seriously, you don’t know? Then I guess we have a slight problem, seeing as you wouldn’t believe me if I gave you the gist. Google the plot if you want (depending you know what “google” is…)
The movie isn’t as good as the book, but it’s very enjoyable. I’d recommend it to anyone who’re looking for some easy entertainment - and not much more. 7/10
