Two great headlines are haunting the fantasy-sphere at the moment. Both of them regard the publication of books in two great fantasy series, both of which may very well be considered to be among my top three favorites.
We all knew that Subterranean Press were going to make a limited edition of Red Seas under Red Skies by Scott Lynch eventually, but yesterday they made the book available for pre-order at their site. I bought my copy of The Lies of Locke Lamora through Amazon, who were nice enough to knock 37 % off the price, but I won’t consider ordering RSuRS before I’ve actually read the book (and Amazon aren’t offering the limited version as of yet, so I’ll wait around until they do). Anyways; great news! I’m glad
The second headline is of a more surprising nature, but the rumors have been circling around for a good month now so I wasn’t entirely shocked when I discovered it. Sub Press have made a deal with Tor Books to publish Gardens of the Moon and Deadhouse Gates by Steven Erikson in a limited edition. This is great news since my own copies of said books are beyond crappy both in condition, cover and quality. The price tag is of course very stiff, but I’ll scrape through. I just gotta have these books - no matter the cost.

Not mine. I never really thought of Leia as hot. Sure, Carrie Fisher is hot, but Leia? She’s more like a sister, really. For some reason.
Also, you’re crazy.
