It would appear that if you sign up for any of the fourteen “sub-clubs” of the Norwegian online retailer Bokklubben, you get free stuff for the amount of 1000 kr (169 dollars or 86 british pounds) per club. Seeing as I don’t have any kids and that I’m already a member on one of the clubs, I managed to scrape together the healthy sum of 10 000 kr worth of free books, comics and DVDs.
Can I get an amen or what? At least a full-throathed “Halleluja” is in order when the only hassle I’ll have with this is that I’ll have to cancel the monthly books with some simple clicks now and then. In other words: totally worth it.
