I picked up Andrzej Sapkowski’s “The Last Wish” this afternoon and haven’t been able to put it down. Why?

‘Cause its got (amongst a shitload of other cool characters)  a promiscuous, sword-master terrorist princess that’s built upon the stereotype of Snow White that can kick some serious protagonist ass with her death squad of assassins and murderous gnomes. And the worst part is that it isn’t the least bit funny in the Terry Pratchetty sort of way; it’s just really realistic, really cool and definitely awesome in ever way.

I just thought you ought to know.
